Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Treatment

Your skin. Reawakened. Naturally.

At Facial Harmony by Bee, our PRP treatments harness your body’s natural healing abilities to rejuvenate the skin from within. Using a personalised approach, we aim to restore your skin’s radiance with subtle, natural-looking results, no artificial enhancements, just your own glow.

PRP Treatment Benefits

Stimulates natural collagen production:

PRP uses your body’s own plasma to encourage skin repair and regeneration, helping improve texture, firmness, and tone over time.

Improves skin quality and elasticity:

Many clients notice smoother, more resilient skin in the weeks following their treatment, particularly in areas affected by ageing or scarring.

Targets dullness, fine lines, and uneven skin tone:

This regenerative approach is often used to revitalise tired, lifeless skin and improve overall harmony and luminosity.

No foreign substances – just your own cells:

Because PRP uses your own blood, there’s no risk of allergic reaction. It’s a completely natural method of skin rejuvenation.

Minimal downtime, long-lasting glow:

Treatments are quick, with little to no downtime, and results can improve progressively over several weeks.

Treatment Details

What is PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment?

PRP is a regenerative treatment that uses a small sample of your own blood to extract plasma rich in growth factors. This plasma is then applied to or injected into the skin to stimulate natural healing and regeneration.

At Facial Harmony by Bee, all PRP treatments are performed by Bee, our qualified and experienced cosmetic nurse. A consultation is required to assess whether PRP is suitable for you and how it can best support your skin goals.

A typical session takes about 45 to 60 minutes, including the blood draw, plasma preparation, and treatment. We recommend a course of treatments for optimal results, which will be discussed during your consultation.

Mild redness or sensitivity can occur post-treatment and usually subsides within 24–48 hours. You’ll receive clear aftercare instructions to support your recovery and results.

Unlike treatments that introduce external substances into the body, PRP works with your own biology. It uses a concentrated form of your own blood plasma – rich in platelets and growth factors – to stimulate tissue repair, collagen production, and cellular regeneration. This makes it ideal for clients seeking a natural approach to skin rejuvenation.

PRP is often used to support the improvement of:

Dull or uneven skin tone

Fine lines and early signs of ageing

Skin laxity

Scarring or textural irregularities

Thinning skin under the eyes

While individual results vary, PRP is particularly valued for its regenerative potential and ability to improve overall skin quality and radiance.

Platelets contain alpha granules that release growth factors when activated. These growth factors—including PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor) and TGF-β (transforming growth factor beta)—play key roles in tissue repair, angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation), and collagen synthesis. When reintroduced into the skin, they act as messengers that prompt your body to rejuvenate itself from within.

Some clients notice a natural glow and skin plumpness within a few days, but optimal results typically develop gradually over several weeks as collagen production increases. Results are long-lasting and can be extended with consistent skincare, healthy lifestyle choices, and maintenance treatments as recommended in your tailored plan.

PRP is generally safe for most healthy individuals but may not be suitable if you have certain medical conditions, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have low platelet counts. This will be carefully assessed during your consultation, where we’ll take a detailed medical history to ensure the treatment is right for you.

Yes, PRP is often used in combination with other modalities for enhanced results. However, because each client’s skin and goals are unique, a professional consultation is required to determine the most effective treatment protocol for you.
